This is a 1965 VW Bus for sale in Minneapolis MN. This bus had the same owners for over 25 years but the bus had been parked after one last drive to a festival in the '90s and it then sat for over 10 years. I bought the bus and after several hours of working to free the bus from its long time resting place I was able to finally get it on my car trailer. (The bus was literally frozen in place as it was winter and was quite the exciting and chilly challenge).
My intention was to have this bus restored as I do have several VW Bus restoration projects already underway and I have sold a lot of nicely restored buses. But it turns out I need some funds to complete four other restorations so I decided to put this one up for sale. I hired my Uncle to get it running and driving well enough to tour the back yard and to be loaded onto a transport. The bus starts with starting fluid and the emergency brake works some.
This is a good foundation for a restoration since it doesn't need a solid frame (two of the buses I'm having restored needed complete frame swaps which is a huge job on a unibody VW Bus). The bus comes with the 1500cc engine, complete front seat needing upholstery, spare tire and everything you see in the photos. It's a nice complete bus down to having both bumpers. It doesn't have rear seats as there is a hand made bed in the rear. But the front splash pan and other hard to find parts are still there.
I do have video of the engine running and of me driving this bus around private property, but keep in mind this bus has not been driven regularly in many, many years. It will needs brakes and more to be a daily driver. The bus needs a good cleaning, that probably goes without saying but yes, it's a barn find and it is dirty and has had critters live in it over the years. But the bus comes with a good battery and it starts with starting fluid so it can get loaded on a trailer or transport easier. I do sell Worldwide and can help with arranging shipping.

Alas, I have to pass this opportunity on to someone else.
