We have a beautifully designed Porsche Speedster Replica for Sale. Built by Carrozzeria Automobili Intermeccanica in 1977 (only 608 made between 1976-1980). It is powered by a 1835cc VW Motor that is very, well, speedy. This little, low car is super fun to drive. You can have the styling and performance of a real Porsche Speedster but for a fraction of the price.
This Porsche runs very well. Mechanically it is in good condition and the brake pedal stops high. It is important to note that this car looks great in these photos but there are blemishes in the paint. My guess is that this is the original paint from when this kit was built in 1977.
Accordingly we have the price very low on this car so there is a real opportunity to get a good deal here. Just take the time to view the imperfections in the close-up photo gallery below and you shouldn't have any surprises when you buy this cool speedster. Just remember it could use paint and other fixes if you want a perfect car.
I always try to be as straight forward as possible when representing a car so I will mention what I noticed (other than the car being an absolute blast to drive): The hood prop is disconnected, the top does not fold up as part of the fabric is disconnected from the frame (though the frame seems to fold up and down fine). The rear view mirror bar is disconnected at the top. The tires are new and the engine does sound very healthy.
If you are looking for something super fun to drive on sunny days, this will certainly do the trick. It will fill that desire and then some. During the photo shoot it seemed as if no one could pass this car without commenting on what a beautiful car this is. I have posted videos of the car starting, running and driving so you can hear the powerful 1835cc engine in action.
