1973 VW Westfalia Camper Bus for Sale
This is a Classic 1973 VW Westy Campmobile
Original paint, new brakes, recently tuned and runs great!
We have another beautiful Westfalia VW Camper Bus for sale. This pop top campmobile was purchased recently from the second owner and is ready to be enjoyed for camping or a nice road trip.
This nice, dry Westy still sports its original paint! The paint was cut and buffed four times recently and then it was waxed to really bring out the factory shine. The paint isn't perfect (since it is 36 years old) but it does look nice. It's always helpful to have a classic car or van in original paint because then you can know that there isn't any bondo under the paint. This bus has a bit of surface rust on the bottom edge of the passenger side door and some through rust under the battery tray, but other than that it is a nice, dry and solid bus!
Recent improvements include new front and rear brakes, a new pop top seal, a new stereo, and a tune up including adjusting the timing and carburetor. There is also a new kids cot and the upholstery has all been recently cleaned so it's ready for lounging or a fun late summer camping trip!
The front seats sport some nice plush seat covers but under those you will find the original seats could use some upholstery. There is a sink and an ice box as well as a fold down rear bed and cupboards with the bus! There is also the screen that snaps in the rear hatch still in tact. The bus comes with receipts dating back more than a decade.
