1928 Buick Master Special Roadster Review

This is a 1928 Buick Master Sport Roadster Model 54 for sale. This is part of the prestigious Richard Bury collection and is one of several Buicks nationally certified by the Antique Automobile Club of America. This low mile, restored car was an AACA national first place winner in 2014.

Here is some information about this model from the sign used in the display for the vehicle when shown at recent Concourse De Elegance appearances:

"Buick's Standard and Master Sixes were dramatically restyled for 1928, given plain crown fenders, bullet-type headlights, sculpted cowl, hood and radiator contours and a reconfigured chassis that allowed the bodies to sit lower. Engineering advances also accompanied the 1928 models, with such improvements as an H-pattern shifter, hydraulic shock absorbers, and a revised valve design.

Buick produced 102,409 examples of the Master Six in 1928, powered by the valve-in-head 274cid/77 horsepower six-cylinder engine, and 3,853 of those were the sport roadster.

This car has been in storage for 65 years and shows just 24,500 miles on the odometer. It features the optional wire wheels and twin driving lights, and its restoration was completed in 2011."

As you can see this is one of the nicest examples of the classic roadster in existence. Have a look through the photo gallery linked just below this description to fully appreciate the condition of this 1928 Buick Master Sport Roadster Model 54 for sale!
