1993 Jaguar XJS Convertible Review

This 1993 Jaguar XJS convertible we have for sale comes from a collection of beautiful cars. You will see other classic Jaguars in the background but this XJS is the one offered to the public. I have helped to sell 10 cars from this particular family of fine art, all of which have been cared for meticulously. Every spring and fall before and after the cars are tucked away for the winter, the owner massages the leather with leather treatment. He also has a great mechanic that works out even the smallest of inconsistencies until they are nearly showpieces of automobile history. Whenever one from the collection comes up for sale, hours of detailing go into making sure it is as like new as possible for the next owner. I have sold three Jaguars, three Rolls Royces, two Lamborghinis and a Delorean for this seller (they are visible in the Cars Sold section of my Web Site if you care to appreciate the fine quality of offerings). Cars from this collection are always detailed to the max and of investor quality.

This Jaguar XJS is as nice as you could possibly expect from an over 20 year old. This Kingfisher Blue Metallic example has nearly perfect original paint. The interior is still in great condition with a soft, leather treated interior, clean carpets, great wood and as detailed as well as you can imagine. Even the chrome on the inside of the car has been polished and kept in glossy original condition. Now with a new convertible top and headliner and new tires this car will keep you comfortable and safe.

This is a six cylinder, non 2+2 model Jaguar XJS. So along with the unique color this example has the nice rarity of no back seat (the back seat offered with this model was ridiculously cramped). The original manuals and tools are with the car. There are receipts dating back to 5/14/1997 when the car had 27,795 miles. Subsequent receipts show the mileage climb to 36,962 in 1998 and up to 48,710 by 2001. The current owners bought the car in 2006 and have enjoyed it immensely ever since. But they like to keep their collection rotating and some new cars have come in so it's time to let you enjoy this rare colored and well preserved 1993 Jaguar XJS for sale!

Thanks for checking out this listing for this now classic 1993 Jaguar XJS Convertible.
