This is an auction for a beautiful and classic 1970 MGB GT. This gorgeous car runs and drives great! It's an incredible low-mileage vehicle that has been stored every winter season since at least 1971! This car has had the same owner since the late 80s, and this current owner is friends with the lady who owned it from 1971-1988! The current owner boasts that he would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere in the Country. Almost everything has been gone through mechanically on this beautiful MG. Some of the many features on this MGB GT include:
This is one of the nicest (and quickest) MG's I've ever seen. The Weber carburetor and the rebuilt engine with mild cam really make this car responsive! Driving on the freeway with this car is smooth and relaxing (see the test drive video below). Driving on curvy roads is even more pleasurable. The original seats are very comfortable and the low center of gravity really helps this sports car hug the road.
This is an original North Dakota car. As far as I can tell (and as far as the original owner knows) all of the panels on the car are original. The car has never been wrecked and no rust repair was needed when the car was repainted. The current owner had the solid body soda blasted to bare metal and repainted the original color. The paint is gorgeous and the new paint job features a protective clear coat finish. There is one small ding in the wind shield and there are two or three minor imperfections in the paint. (There is one very small chip near the back hatch and there are two small spots with a little bit of texture.) But as a whole this car is amazing inside, outside and even underneath! This rare, original, low-mileage classic provides any MG enthusiast with an opportunity that should not be missed! Good Luck Bidding! Or you can eliminate the competition and buy-it-now. You'll be glad you did!
