1967 Buick Riviera for sale

This is a Beautifully Designed1967 Buick Riviera For Sale. The current owner's Father purchased this car new on April 27th, 1967. It now has 75k Original Miles. It is still in its original color, and the interior is completely original. With a touch of the key the car starts up and runs very well. My test drive was like a dream come true. I had forgotten what a calm and smooth ride the Riviera offers both drivers and passengers. This is a terrific, original example of the coveted Buick Riviera we have for sale.

Every piece of this car that was on it when it left the factory seems to still be accounted for. The wheel wells still have the protective shields for helping prevent road slop from filling the fenders. The front bumper was rechromed recently and the bolts came out easily with just a hand wrench! The car spent its first 20 years in a small town in Nebraska and that, as well as being extremely well maintained and garage kept, helped to keep this car away from road salt and other deteriorating elements that overtook so many of these classic Buick Rivieras. I wouldn't be surprised if this example still has its original muffler! (The muffler is showing wear, but the car runs quietly and idles perfectly.) The current owner has had his Dad's car since the 1980s. Besides one paint job, nothing else on this car looks as if it has ever been altered or even touched.

Going down the road, the design of this automobile accented by chrome trim is literally a work of art (I have heard there is a Buick Riviera in the Museum of Modern Art!) This example was painted years ago and it looks very sharp from any angle. This 1967 Buick Riviera looks fantastic. The paint does have a little "orange peal" and some other very small imperfections. The car could be color sanded to get a more mirror finish. But if you want a Riviera that you can drive daily and not worry about making a show car, you can start enjoying this classic on day one. This car is so original that it would be a treat to take it to the next level, and if anyone chose to do so with this nice example as a starting point, a complete restoration would be easy as you would have no need to source and purchase parts, and the value would certainly follow any investment. This is a very nice, solid, original car.

Almost all items function and work like new. The drive train shifts super smoothly. The column shifter moves with ease. The brakes are smooth and responsive. The throttle is powerful and exhilarating! The steering is as smooth as butter. I noticed the clock doesn't work, and the cigarette lighter doesn't heat up. The unique speedometer is worth checking out in the test drive video below!

The hide away headlights are a spectacular feature on this car. You can watch video of the headlights zooming up and down with the hood open. They do work with the hood closed too but the passenger side gets hung up on what may be the chrome on the hood on its way back in. The systems function perfectly for both the wipers and the hide away headlights. The radio is original and the dials move freely, however there isn't any static or sound that comes out of the speakers. You can see the video of the power antenna going up and down like a champ (it's fast!). The interior lights light up with the door open, and the turn signals and brake lights all function well. It's a comfortable drive, this car; It's relaxing to drive exactly as it is.

The trunk is one of the many areas on this car that really shows how untouched this car really is. There are the original cardboard elements still intact after nearly 55 years(!). And under the original spare tire is maroon paint that looks as good as when it was sprayed in 1967. The original jack is still attached to the passenger side of the trunk. The original spare tire still holds air.

The original owners manual and service record book come with the car.
