63k Original Miles, Solid California Car, Power Everything, 340HP Buick Wildcat 465 Engine!

1964 Buick Riviera for sale

We have a very nice, very original 1964 Buick Riviera for sale. The 1964 Buick Riviera is commonly included on lists of the most beautifully designed cars ever made. There reportedly was even one in the Museum of Modern Art. But no matter how you look at it, this is a beautiful example of a very stylish Buick.

This extra clean example is believed to have only 63,xxx original miles. It was sold at an auction in Palm Springs, California to the previous owner who kept the car from 1996-2009. It has only been driven about 1200 miles in the past 13 years!

There are about 1000 miles on the following: Brakes, Heater Core, Points, Condenser, Tail Pipe, and upper end engine rebuild. (One piston was stuck from sitting so the previous owner had the top end of the engine rebuilt about 1000 miles ago). There are also new shocks and a new glove box. The car has been repainted the original Desert Beige color, but other than these improvements the rest of the car is in amazing original condition.

This is a highly optioned car with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power antenna, and power seats and remote mirrors. Driving this car makes you feel like a King. The original 425ci engine produces 340 HP so it has the power to take on road runners and GTOs! It's surprisingly quick.

It is rare to find a '64-'66 Riviera that hasn't been heavily customized. It is common to see lowered suspension and shaved door handles on these cars. But a true investment quality example should always be as close to stock as possible. This Riviera is the one to buy. If you have been waiting for the right example to come your way, it just arrived.

Everything works on the car except for the A/C needs a charge. But the power antenna, radio, odometer and speedometer all work well ( the speedometer does wobble a bit but it works). The power windows work perfectly. You can see them in action in the videos!

Take some time to enjoy the pages in each photo gallery below, enjoy the videos of this Buick Riviera starting up and running and driving, and feel free to ask any questions should you have them. I sell cars all over the World so I can help with shipping when the time comes.

Thank you for checking out this classic 1964 Buick Riviera! -John Snell

These are comments from a certified judge for the Buick Club of America about this '64 Riviera:

"NADA shows a 15% add for the Super Wildcat 465 Dual Quad Carter carb'ed cars... and only if it is factory installed "K" Code manifold and engine block. The engine in your car is the standard engine for '64. Also the wheelcovers are from a 1970 LeSabre and are not correct for the '64 Riv. I am a certified judge for the Buick Club of America and am a member of the Riviera Owner's Assocaition. I also own 3 of these cars; a '63 and 2 '64's both are Super Wildcat equipped. You have a nice car with a worth of approximately $15-17,000.00 if it is all you say it is..."
